Heads to St. Louis for 2008 Executive Conference RVAA will visit the Gateway City of St. Louis, MO, August 5-8, 2008 for its Annual Executive Conference. The event will be held at the Chase Park Plaza – a beautiful, all-suite property in the city’s fashionable West End. “We have not seen a property yet that fits our needs as well as the Chase Park Plaza,” noted RVAA’s Executive Director Karl Etshied. “One of the most important components of our conference is the size of the rooms – and every room at the Chase Park is a newly renovated suite that offers a lot of space for all of our supplier members to properly hold meetings with our distributor members.” The legendary Chase Park Plaza Hotel is a blend of distinctive charm and upscale sophistication rising in stately grandeur above the vibrant artistic hub of St. Louis. With its recent $100,000,000 renovation, the Chase Park Plaza now encompasses over one million square feet of unique and luxurious guest suites, five fabulous restaurants, impeccable banquet and meeting facilities, a five-screen cinema and an indescribable array of lavish indulgences. Beyond the hotel itself, there is much to do in the local area that will keep RVAA members entertained. “The Chase is located about five minutes by cab from the downtown city center and the famous Arch of St. Louis,” Etshied continued. “This location is perfect in many ways – you can visit the downtown quickly if you have some free time and checkout Laclede’s Landing, the Arch or one of the casinos downtown – or else you can stay within walking distance and find all the entertainment and nightlife you could ask for.” A short walk out the front door of the Chase Park puts the visitor on Maryland Avenue featuring upscale boutique shopping and a number of trendy bars and restaurants. Or, directly across the street from the entrance of the hotel is Forest Park – the largest inner city park in the United States – larger than Central Park in New York City. The park contains the city’s cultural attractions including the Art Museum, Zoo and a public golf course. The conference will again be held on a Tuesday through Friday format - with RVAA’s Annual Golf Outing to be held on the opening Tuesday of the event. RVAA’s Golf Selection Committee will soon be visiting local courses to determine the finest venue for this event which has become a staple of the annual conference. But the star of the show will truly be the accommodations. The Chase Park Plaza's lavishly designed spacious one and two-bedroom guest suites provide the inviting warmth and comfort of an elegant private residence. Every suite features a large, relaxing living/dining area -- all discreetly separated from the bedrooms, each of which has its own bath. Total comfort is further assured by numerous amenities and personal touches, such as king or queen-sized beds, fine cotton sheets, imported European toiletries and extra large towels. There are also a fully stocked refreshment center, digital satellite television and movies, high-speed Internet access and around-the-clock concierge or room service. There will
