RVAA was formed in 1969 to act as the voice of the Recreational Vehicle industry's aftermarket segment and is currently the only national association dedicated specifically to the interests of the RV industry's aftermarket suppliers, distributors and manufacturer's agents. Formerly known as WDA (The Warehouse Distributors Association), the association changed its named to RVAA in 2001 to more accurately reflect the scope of the association's mission. The association's mission statement tells the story: "We are dedicated to the growth and efficiency of the RV aftermarket by establishing and promoting programs and industry partnerships to enhance the RV lifestyle. " To honor this mission statement, the associatio participates in industry events and discussions to represent the views of the RV Aftermarket as well as providing direct members-only benefits to its supplier, distributor and agent members. RVAA is guided by its Board of Directors as well as individual committees that address specific issues of importance and relevance to both the aftermarket and the entire RV industry. RVAA Communications - RVAA’s quarterly “Communicator” Magazine and monthly “5-Minute Communicator” give you up-to-the-minute information about the association and the industry. Also RVAA publishes a quarterly magazine “Aftermarket Success” which is sent to over 3000 RV dealers in the US and Canada as well as nearly 2000 additional RV Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and key industry contacts. In 2005, RVAA has introduced the “RVAA Legal Letter” - a bi-monthly consolidation of all legal and regulatory issues relevant to our supplier and distributor members.
